Terms of use

1. About this page

Yuru Karaoke Creator (“this page”) is a page for combining Yuru’s lyrics with a video of the user singing along to the chorus of a Yuru song, to create a vertical video. It is free of charge. No registration is required.

2. Permitted use

Users may freely do the following:

1. Create singing videos using this page
2. Post the videos they create on social media such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube

3. Prohibited use

Users must not do any of the following:

1. Extract only the backing track or the lyric video and distribute or publish it
2. Use it to promote a company or a specific product or service
3. Use it for political, religious or similar statements or activities
4. Reuse it in other works (other songs, videos, etc.)
5. Use it to train AI
6. Present Yuru’s songs as their own
7. Use it in any way that harms others, discriminates, violates laws or regulations, or is otherwise contrary to public order and morals

4. Automatic copyright notices

On YouTube, Facebook and similar platforms, the use of Yuru’s songs may be detected automatically and a copyright notice may be displayed.

Yuru will not request the removal of videos created and posted in accordance with these terms.

5. Hashtag (optional)

When posting, we would appreciate it if you added #YubikiriChallenge (optional).

6. Rights and other matters

1. All rights to the songs, lyrics and backing tracks belong to Yuru.
2. When posting, please comply with the terms of use of each social media platform.
3. These terms may be changed.

Privacy

7. Handling of video and audio

1. The user’s video, audio and image of their face are processed only on the user’s device and are never sent externally.
2. Videos are not stored on any server. A video is saved on the device only when the user selects “Save to Photos” or “Save as a file”. When the page is closed, the data being processed is deleted.
3. The camera and microphone are used only when the user selects “Turn on camera”, and stop automatically when recording ends.

8. Personal information

1. We do not collect personal information such as names or email addresses. There is no registration.
2. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking.
3. As with any website, the server that delivers this page keeps records of the access date and time, IP address, browser type and the files loaded. The user’s video, audio and image of their face are not sent, so they are not included in these records.

9. Sharing

When the user selects “Save to Photos”, the created video is handed to the device’s share menu. If the user then selects a social media app from the share menu and posts, the video is sent by that app, not by this page.
